Jennifer Stevens is an executive with over 20 years of real asset investment expertise and extensive knowledge of the investment management, consultant and investor universe. As Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Alliance Global Advisors, Jen launched a firm that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the fastest-growing strategic advisory platforms in the real estate investment industry.
Jen’s experience includes institutional consulting, portfolio management, strategic and investment planning, real asset investment underwriting, due diligence and organizational consulting. Her areas of specialization include sustainability, investment structuring, data analytics, performance and reporting. Jen continues to be an active voice with leading associations and continues her contribution to standard-setting initiatives, helping to define best practices for complex issues facing the private markets investment industry.
Prior to launching Alliance Global Advisors in 2020, Jennifer spent sixteen years with the Townsend Group, where she advised investors representing over $300 billion in cumulative plan assets and more than $20 billion in real asset allocations. As a partner of the firm and voting member of Townsend’s Advisory Investment Committee, Jen managed the West Coast Advisory practice and built out Townsend’s sustainability advisory and due diligence platform. Her clients included prominent family office investors as well as some of the firm’s largest defined benefit and defined contribution fund clients. Among them were leading global investors such as California State Teachers, Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Fire & Police, Orange County, University of California, Los Angeles County, Los Angeles City, San Diego City, Sacramento County and Queensland Superannuation Fund (now Australia Retirement Trust). During her tenure, she also represented Townsend’s interests on over 20 Limited Partner Advisory Committees (LPAC).
Jen was elected to the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Board in 2022 and to the NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards Board in 2024. She also serves on the Board of White Oak Partners and Forty5 Park. She is an active participant in RELPI and IREI and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events.
In 2016, Jennifer Stevens received the inaugural GRESB Leadership Award from the U.S. Green Building Council for her efforts to develop sustainability solutions for the real estate investment industry. In 2019, she was recognized on Chief Investment Officer’s annual list of most influential global investment consultants. She went on to receive the 2021 GlobeSt. Women of Influence Award and the 2023 Connect CRE Women in Real Estate Award. Most recently, in 2024, Jen was named one of the Most Empowering Women in Business by Inc. Magazine.
A first-generation college graduate, Jennifer received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University in 2004 and remains an active alumna. She is a former President of Ohio University’s College of Business Society of Alumni & Friends and currently serves as the Chair of the Executive Alumni Board. In 2019, Jennifer also joined the Board of the Ohio State University Center for Real Estate. Jen’s philanthropic initiatives are focused on expanding access and improving outcomes for students interested in creating positive impact in their local and global communities. She is involved with organizations such as the Ohio University Center for Law, Justice and Culture, the PREA Foundation and Coffee Connectors.
Jennifer lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband (Zack), daughter (Chloe) and dog (Maui). On a long weekend, you will find Jen curating unique experiences for her friends and family – she may be hosting an Ohio State tailgate, listening (and dancing) to live music, sailing in the Florida Keys, savoring a bottle of champagne or skiing with her niece and nephews.
